Today I want to talk about life as a reflection of what is going on inside of you. And if you're into the kind of material I share then I’m sure that you will have seen this already, but I hope what I'm going to be sharing today or some of the examples will give you will be fresh and might help you see it in a deeper way. To start I am going to share something in my own words that I learnt from Abraham Hicks because I think they explain it so beautifully - We all vibrate at a certain energy and we have an energy field which they call the vortex. In this energy field you have been putting experiences, likes, dislikes and desires ever since you had an energy field. You have put all the things you believe in; the things that you think can happen, should happen, aren't happening. You have put in what you think is right, what you think is wrong, what you think is good, and what you think is bad. You have put in what you think about certain behaviours; how you think people should behave and how they shouldn’t behave. Your energetic body is full of everything that you've put into it. You can never totally get rid of anything in there, but you can activate it or deactivate it by how you focus. The more you focus on something the more you are likely to see that thing showing up in your daily life. It does not matter if your focus is a positive one on things that make you happy or a negative one on things that you fear or dislike. The more energetically charged you are be it positive or negative the more likely it is to show up in your life. I have a little example that I think shows how this works - I was walking with a very dear friend of mine today and we were talking about Facebook. She was saying how she was annoyed that she gets all these posts about conspiracy theories, people that are angry with the government, or causes and she was complaining about FaceBook as if they chose to send her these posts. I however have a very different experience, (this might sound a little big headed so please forgive me) my Facebook feed it's full of people being positive and caring and loving. I do occasionally get a post that isn't in alignment with where I would like to see my life but I just flick past it. I don't focus, read it, like it, comment on it, or share it. I don't interact with it at all. I simply flick past it. I am sharing this example because that's what life is like. We all stuff in our energetic bodies things like conspiracy theories, unpleasant leaders, and opinionated people. I also have conspiracy theories, people that are angry with the government it's all there and I am aware of it it's in my energy field. I just don't give it attention. I instead I focus on love and kindness and a way of being that gives me joy and happiness. This is what I give my focus to. These are the things that I like, comment on, share, and that I interact with. And the other things that for me pull me out of alignment that I don't want to have in my world I simply flick past. That is not to say they do not ever show up in my life but when they do I give as little attention to them as possible. I am sharing this with you because you direct what you experience in life. You have so much in your vortex and your energy field, but you have the choice of what you bring out and what you give focus to and what you don’t. It doesn't matter how you feel about anything in your energy field. The more you focus on it, the more emotion you have charged around it, the more it is going to show up and be in your reality. Another example I have about this was when I lived in Botswana. I was a single mother, I had two very young kids (who then grew up to be much older) but in the beginning they were very young. I lived there alone with my children and from time to time we would experience crime waves normally when the river in front of our house ran dry. People got burgled on either side of me and all along the river I lived on. We also went through a major four year drought and at the same time the country was struggling to supply power to it’s citizens so there were lots of power outages. I remember consciously choosing not to focus on these things well to focus on them as little as I could and I believe because of this we were barely touched by these circumstances. We only had one theft and it was of a frozen pie from a freezer that was outside the house. And I think I can live with someone stealing a pie a frozen pie from my freezer. If they needed a frozen pie they're more than welcome to have the frozen pie. Our boar hole also never ran dry and we had water throughout the drought water even though everyone around us had to bring water by truck. In regards to the power we were again blessed. The power company declared that we were only allowed to use a certain amount of power in the evenings that was equivalent to turning on a kettle. Anyone who went over their allowed amount would have their power turned off for a whole day or more. We had three phase power which was different to most people so were unaffected. That is not to say we didn’t have any power cuts we did but we were exempt from the standardised ones that went on for months every evening. I believe that this was our experience because I chose to focus on what we did have, on the positives rather than get sucked into the negatives and things that weren’t working. I hope that this has in some way inspired you to see how you can create your own reality just by focusing on what you want in your reality rather on the things that you don't want. If you want to access any of my resources I will add my website in the comments So much love from me to you Britt

24/7/2020 0 Comments The Creative Power Of Thought
There is so much out there about thoughts becoming things, the vibration of thought, and positive thinking etc. and recently I have giving the creative power of thoughts quite a bit of thought (excuse the pun).
What I've realised is a subtlety in these ides and that is that it is the vibration of the thoughts that you think that causes the reality you experience, it’s about how the thoughts that you think make you feel. If you are constantly focusing on things that fill you with fear such as the news, fear based social media posts, news papers, magazines or even indulging in fear based conversations. You will be filling your mind full of thoughts that are focused on fear and the vibration of those thoughts will create fear inside of you and you will become a fearful being. Your actions, your choices will all be based on fear. The vibration of the thoughts that you think create the emotions that you feel and those emotions trigger actions that create the reality that you experience. There is something that's very important to realise with thought - you cannot destroy it, stop it, make it or prevent it from happening. What you can do is to choose what you focus it on. What you focus on is what you feed your thoughts. If you focus on fear you will think fearful thoughts if you focus on gratitude you will have grateful thoughts. Where you choose to focus is just that a choice and you make it every day even if you are unaware that you are making it. It does not matter whether you are out in the beautiful countryside, shut in a room or in a cell in a prison, you have a choice about what you fill your mind full of and therefor how you experience your life. It's also very important to be aware of how you feel. How you feel is an indicator of what you’ve been thinking. If you're feeling low or flat or down you have most likely been focusing on negative things. Either you have been feeding yourself negative fear based things by what you have been watching, reading or talking about or… you have been talking negatively to yourself in your mind through your internal voice. This is the voice that comments on everything you do in life and on what everyone else does. I have a very critical internal voice that always thinks I could be doing more or better than I am. If I allow it, it can get very carried away and when it does I end up feeling completely defeated because there is just no way I can do everything it thinks I can! Since learning about all of this I have been able to refocus it and when I catch it having a go at me I choose to focus on either what I have accomplished or I just focus on something else entirely. It can be hard to catch yourself with these thoughts as they seem to be part of who you are, but if you become aware of how you feel, and when you are feeling low or flat you explore what you were thinking about yourself before you felt that you might start to notice a pattern. Becoming aware of this pattern is the most important step to changing it as you can’t change something you are unaware of. There was a time when I had been through a lot and I was more tired than I thought I should be, and I feel uncomfortable admitting this, but I watched more TV than I thought I should. One day I was watching TV and feel just horrible about doing it. My internal voice was going on about how useless I was and what a loser I was for just sitting around. And the more it went on the less energy I had and the worse I felt. Then, and I don’t remember what made me suddenly realise this I decided to make what I was doing right. I focused on being kind to myself and compassionate to myself and the funniest thing happened. My mood lifted and I started to feel much more energised it got to the point that I no longer felt like watching TV but wanted to get up and do something. This whole change had nothing to do with anything other that the thoughts I was thinking to and about myself. Resisting reality and what you have to do is not what I am recommending when I tell you to focus on positive things. What I am saying is that you have to be aware of what you are consuming mentally on a daily basis. Aside from this life does happen and when something is not going well our mind worries on it and it plays on it and it goes on and on in a loop and this creates a very negative feeling within you that can grow and grow and grow. When this happens it is important to follow these steps;
As I think I have said before in another blog, accounts it's not my favourite thing, but I know that if I ignore them then doing them becomes a bigger and bigger challenge. To avoid this happening I have chosen 1 day a month that I sit down and do them and I stick to it and then for the rest of the month I don’t focus on them at all. I know that is when I do it and I sit down and I do it. I know that me thinking negatively about it is not going to change the fact that I have to do it. It is not going to alter the accounts or suddenly make them wonderful, but by focusing on other stuff that makes me feel good for the rest of the time then doing the accounts is not weighing me down the whole month. There are some things you have to deal with that are not pleasant. Sometimes life throws us a curveball, but sitting there and worrying about it and creating a vibration around it that attracts more stuff like that to you and attaches you much more strongly to whatever it is that you are feeling negative about is only going to ripple out into your world and create more disturbance than you most likely would want. So acknowledge it, decide what you're going to do about it, get on with it, and then let it go and refocus and recalibrate and up your vibration so that you're sitting there high again and vibrating in a space that you really want to be vibrating in. When you engage with life like this then challenges become minor blip’s and not huge tsunamis that blown your whole life out of the water. It is very important that you look after what you think about and what you focus on because this creates the vibration the energy and the action that you take in life and therefore your reality. I hope you have enjoyed this blog and that you have learnt a little bit about the creative power of thought. If you want to have a look at some of my other resources you can find them on my website which I will post in the first comment below. So much love from me to you.
Looking through the inspirational posts on social media I noticed that there were two types of posts. One that advocated trying hard and lots of effort and the other that was about finding inspiration and flow. This got me pondering which was the right way to approach life and this is what I have realised.
The world we currently live in isn't a motivation or an inspiration world, but it's actually a combination. And that just observing life in the last 40 odd years I can see that it's starting to shift. The mindset used to be focused much more on motivation. Life was about what you had to do, should do, and must do. However things are shifting and I love this so much. People hire professionals to help them find their purpose and businesses are starting to realise that aligning with values that matter to everyone leads to a happier and more productive work place. Mediation is now not a strange thing that hippies do, mindfulness and yoga are mainstream. This is meaningful in the context that I am talking about today because these activities are not Doing activities they are Being activities. These activities encourage people to get out of their busy minds and be present, they create space in lives that are otherwise very, very full of things to occupy the mind. Whilst inspiration is more valued than it used to be we still live in a world where there are some things that we need to motivate ourselves to do. I find that the more I learn how to allow inspiration the more I want to live from this space. I love the feeling of inspiration, when I get an inspired thought I just can’t contain myself and I have to go off and do something that follows that thread of that inspiration. Nearly all of these blogs originate from inspired thought. I will have a thought and then I am filled with a kind of excitement and a feeling of - Oh I've got to share this! Or I will have a question that niggles me and I just have to follow a little thread of curiosity till the answer comes to me. I do however recognised that there are still things in my life that require motivation. - For instance I do not particularly enjoy accounts. I have learnt to do accounts and I can do accounts quite well but it is not something that ignites me and makes me excited, but I know they do need to be done. So this does require motivation from me. I now have a process where I do them once a month on a certain day every month. I have learnt to reduce the resistance to it by doing it every month rather than leaving it to the end of the year but even this doe snot negate the need for motivation. The need to sit myself down and make myself do them. - Something else that I have realised I need motivation for is when I’m starting something new. For example if I have been off kilter for a little bit and have got out of the habit of exercising then I need to use motivation to get back into it as there is resistance from me to doing it. Once I am back into the rhythm of doing the exercise then there's no motivation needed, then I love the feeling of my body getting stronger and I love the feeling of being out there and doing whatever it is that I'm doing, but I do adit that initially I do need motivation to get me started. In pondering this topic I realised that inspiration is Source creating through you. Allowing inspiration into your life (I did a blog specifically on how to allow space for inspiration - Allowing Inspiration) means that you allow the creative power of Source to flow through you and this is where original ideas and innovation come from. As Einstein said - “You cannot solve todays problems with yesterdays thinking” if you want to solve todays problems you will need to learn how to let inspiring ideas into your life. Something else that you might not realise about living your life through inspiration is that when you follow an inspired idea the usual laws of time and space do not always apply. Normally when you want to achieve something you create a plan and you know that if you do this and then that you will get there. There is an understanding of how long the process will take you and the steps you need to take to get there. However when you are inspired there is very rarely a straight line from the idea to the result and you can get results much more quickly than you ever thought possible. For instance when I was moving to Bath in the UK I was inspired to tell people about it to try to make connections before I moved there. At the time I only knew one person who lived in Bath. This caused me to speak to someone I knew in Hong Kong and during this conversation he said that he knew the director of Bridge (an international organisation) and that he lived in Bath. He very kindly introduced me to him and it was through tis contact that I ended up working for Bath Bridge. It would have taken me years and a lot of networking to make this contact the normal way. Inspiration is like a wormhole or a time wormhole or a loophole or something life that. It can magically bring you to your destination or to something greater than you ever anticipated. It is like magic and if you follow the inspired thoughts they will bring you to a space way beyond what you could ever comprehend in your head in an amount of time that is so much quicker and shorter than you could have ever thought possible. The other thing about motivation and inspiration is that motivation requires you to use your own energy. Continually motivating yourself is exhausting and leads to burnout. This is why I think we need to balance motivation and inspiration whilst trying to live more and more from a space of inspiration. If your life is predominantly powered by motivation, if you live your life by making yourself do things and feeling you have to, you should, or you must then you might find you become drained, exhausted, stressed and even depressed. Inspiration comes with its own energy package, it ignites energy in you and gives you the resources to be able to follow it through. You can feel this as excitement or anticipation. It is a little bit like falling in love. When you fall in love with someone you have so much energy that you can survive on a few hours sleep a night and still wake up feeling like you just can’t sit still. I think this is because you only receive inspiration when you are open and when you are open Source can flow through you. And that is what inspiration is. It is a spark of Source. A spark of collective consciousness that you allow into you and it brings in its own energy from Source into you which makes every part of you tingle and fizz and bubble. If you are new to living from inspiration you should be aware that your subconscious programming and your old beliefs might come in and make you either - doubt yourself. You might think that you’re not able to do what ever it is that you have been inspired to do. - Feel self-conscious. You think that you are being silly and that you are not being practical or realistic. All of these thoughts come in from your old patterns and you old thinking and it's your subconscious and your egos way of trying to keep you safe in what you've always done. So especially initially when you start following inspiration you need to have a little bit of courage. Courage to follow that beautiful wonderful golden thread through life. Courage to trust yourself and to build self trust and self belief. (I have also written about this - Building Self Belief) If you are able to find courage and follow your intuition that is where you will find the magic in life. It is where the beauty and excitement and expansion is and you know that you truly are a creative being. In conclusion I do think that there's still a place for motivation in this world that it’s still important. You might find that your life consists of more motivation than inspiration but realising this means that you can now start to consciously make space for inspiration and to start to follow the golden thread of inspired thought to your own adventures and start to create your own magic. Because when you become inspired when you follow an inspired thought when it bubbles up or comes down or however it comes into you and it creates it’s energy in you so that you can't prevent yourself from getting excited and wanting to follow where that inspiration goes it is the most beautiful feeling. The more you bring this into your life the more synchronicities, serendipities, magic and beauty you will experience in your life. I hope you have enjoyed this blog. I have lots of resources on my website(I will pop it in the first comments below) I am also a coach and if you want to work with me I am happy to have a free chemistry call with you, just contact me through the contact page on my website. I would also like to thank all the people who commented on my social media post last year where I asked them what they thought about motivation v’s inspiration. Your comments really made me think and I am blessed to be connected to so many fabulous people who are living lives focused on inspiration. I have tagged you all in this post to say thank you for all of your in put it was greatly appreciated and I wouldn't have been able to write this blog - The Importance Of Motivation and Inspiration with out you. So much love from me to you 10/7/2020 2 Comments Allowing Inspiration
This week I am going to share about - Inspiration and allowing inspiration. I have purposely chosen allowing as inspiration doesn't come from within us. An inspired thought does not come from sifting through what you already know. Inspiration does not come from the old thoughts, the old patterns or the old beliefs that you hold in your mind. Inspiration comes from something outside of yourself. The collective consciousness, Source, God or what ever you are comfortable calling it - the wisdom of all.
People like Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci or anyone who has had an amazing idea gets their inspiration by creating space in their in their lives to allow these ideas to come to them. They tap into and go beyond their own minds to create space for something new to arrive something to arrive in from this collective consciousness that we're all connected to. Napoleon Hill talks about this in his book Think And Grow Rich. To receive inspiration you need to connect in to collective consciousness and allow inspiration to find the spark in you to ignite the memories in you that are relevant to what it is that you’re hoping to get inspiration for. The key is learning how to create space for allowing. In a world where we are so focused on “Doing” and very little on “Being” (although things are starting to shift with practices such as meditation, yoga and mindfulness) this will take conscious effort from you. There are many ways to create this space. Although what I am going to share with you is not a prescription as what I am talking about is a state of being, a receptive state of being. You will need to play around with what I share and see which allows you to be in the most receptive state. Some things you can do are;
You might find that even when you make this time doing some of the things I have suggested, that your mind is just too busy and you struggle to get out of your head. I have experienced the same thing with my mind being too busy on a problem that I've got with work, one of my kids, my family or something else. And I can feel that my energy is in my head working on that problem and not being present with what I am doing. To bring myself out of my head I bring my focus onto my breathing. When I know that my focus is there and I am present with my breath and my body I take my focus out into the world and a space that I happen to be running in. Personally I love running outside I don't do running in gyms it's too claustrophobic for me and I find I am more able to find inspiration when I run outside. I am sure that there are many other ways to create this space and please feel free to experiment I hope that the list above has given you some ideas. The energy of inspiration is around us all the time and all we need to do is be open to allowing it to flow through us unhindered. Inspiration is the source of conscious action and this is so incredibly important because quite often in our world we still rely too heavily on motivation. I can see that we are shifting and that humanity is becoming more conscious and more aware. The things that I am talking about are so much more important to people than they ever used to. That mediation and mindfulness have become mainstream. In the past we used to rely on motivation primarily to get anything done. Motivation used to be a big part of our lives and now it’s becoming less and less so as people understand that having an inspired thought and following it and allowing action to come from this inspired thought is a much more productive way to live. The results that you get from following inspiration are so much greater, faster and more exciting than by following motivation. However my next blog is going to be on motivation versus inspiration so I am not going to say anymore on that subject now. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog on allowing inspiration and I hope you found something you can use in your life. I have lots of resources including some free courses on my website and I will share the address to that in the first comment below. So much love from me to you XX 3/7/2020 2 Comments Trying Too Hard
Have you ever felt that no matter how hard you try you never quite seem to get where it is that you want to go? It might be in work, it might be in one of your relationships, it might be with your health, or your fitness or something like that. I decided to focus on this today because this has been one of my greatest challenges in life. I have always been somebody who likes to do something and do it really, really well. One of the first memories I have of this was on my first pony club camp. I won all the rosettes, and they weren’t all for doing anything amazing.They were for simple things like making sure that your pony is groomed well. I would get there before everybody else and I would spend hours grooming my pony to make sure that it was spotless. I didn’t do it to be better than other people it was because I just loved doing it.
It is just in who I am to give my all. Sometimes it has served me and other times not so much. At the pony club camp for instance I didn't actually get first place on the last day because, as the organisers told me, that they felt so embarrassed for giving me first place throughout the weekend that they felt like they needed to give someone else a chance. My excelling was uncomfortable to them. I also took part in a sponsored walk around my school when I was about 6. I really loved it, talking to all the other people and marching along, (I have always been a bit of a natter box). I don’t remember being aware of where I was compared to other people in the number of laps I had done but apparently I was in the lead for my age. My mother was a teacher at the school and through embarrassment of having me be win the sponsored walk for my age group she actually told another kid to go around a couple of times so that he would beat me. I have also experienced this when I was setting up my business here in the UK. I knew I had a time line to get everything up and going and I felt this pressure so I tried really hard. When nothing seemed to work as fast as I wanted it to I just tried even harder. As you can imagine this led to quite a bit of stress. It was only when I took a step back and started to act from a different place that I started to move forwards. I share these stories because trying hard meets with resistance even if my trying hard was not motivated by trying to get a certain result. It is also an energetic resistance. For example in a very basic form - if you push someone they tend to push back and resist. Life is the same. As I got older and wiser (hopefully) I realised that quite often putting that kind of effort in was actually quite exhausting especially when there was push back from life to the direction I was trying to go in. As life got more full with children, a career, social life and close relationships putting lots of effort into all these areas became impossible. When I was a young child or even when I was a teenager or in my early 20s there's only me to look after and focus on and then trying hard was not too self defeating. As my life filled up it became a behaviour that set me back more than it took me forwards and at times I became overwhelmed, exhausted, irritable and so on. The more I felt my self lag and falter the more I would make myself wrong and the more I would try even harder until I just couldn’t. I have often seen this in my friends and clients as well where trying harder and harder causes immense amounts of stress and exhaustion. Life was not meant to be like this and if we are not carful this continued stress can harm us physically. I have experienced this recently just through the circumstances of moving to a new country. Since we moved to the UK we have moved 4 times in as many years there has also been the stress of ensuring my children are as unaffected by these moves as possible so that their schooling wouldn’t suffer and a number of other circumstances. As I said I have a tendency to try too hard. So when my fitness wasn’t what it was normally (as I had not had time to go running) I pushed myself to get back on track. I had certain expectations of what I thought I should be able to do and I thought I could just force myself to meet them. Unfortunately I learnt the hard way that force is not the answer - and I gave myself exercise induced asthma. I later learnt that this is brought on when someone is stressed and then on top of the external stress they push their body really hard and cause it even more stress. It is the body’s way of saying STOP! What I am going to share with you today is that whilst my propensity is to come from a place of trying really, really hard I have learnt that a balance of both allowing and doing achieves the best results for me and for everything and everyone around me. Especially if my actions come from a place of inspiration (and I’ll go into inspiration next week). For this to happen you will need to make space for inspiration to come and then take action from this inspiration. When you are able to do this then there is very little effort and trying and the results are not bound by normal linear constraints. For instance in my coaching business when I was moving to the UK I didn’t know how I was going to make contacts and create a net work. Instead of trying really hard and becoming pushy I just shared what I was doing with people I knew. It was through this sharing in a non expectant way that a colleague of mine in Hong Kong introduced me to someone he knew who had just moved back to Bath. This person just happened to be a director of Bath Bridge who run a talent program for young leaders. I have now been working with them for more than 3 years. I could never have made this happen through effort it was only by following inspiration and acting out of curiosity that this came about. Looking at trying too hard energetically - to make an effort you have to have reserves of energy to do the thing that you want to do. If you are constantly exerting effort and you’re not replenishing yourself then you will have no reserves to be able to make the effort with. When you are running on empty is when you are susceptible to stress and this can lead to breakdowns both mentally physically. This is why I think it's so incredibly important to have balance between doing and allowing. One of my trainers once explained it to me in this way - it is like trying to catch a bar of soap in the shower. If you go and grab at it constantly it is very tricky. The more you grab at it and attack it the more it slips out of your hands and shoots away. However of you reaching for it and scooping it up by allowing it to fall into your hand then it is easy, (and for those of you who nowadays only use shower gel, get a bar of soap and try and chase it around a bathtub when it's wet). Life is very much like this. We do need to take action but as I have said the action needs to come from inspiration we need to be inspired to take the action that we take. And for that we need to be able to allow space and allow peace and quiet and allow ourselves to connect with Source. I would like to put it to you that there's two ways to achieve anything
Because our life is so much about doing we still have to find things to do when we are being quiet things that numb us to the expectation of doing. Just observe when you next watch too much TV, reading too many novels or eating too much and ask yourself why am I doing this? Is it to numb life? I would like to suggest that part of the reason that we do these things is because we're uncomfortable just sitting and being, daydreaming, pondering and being in that kind of open present space. That this has been made wrong in the world and we're not comfortable just sitting with ourselves because it has been so engrained in us that we have to be doing. And yet when I think of the most amazingly creative people that have had huge breakthroughs people like Albert Einstein and Leonardo da Vinci they were known to have these moments of reflection. Albert Einstein used thought experiments and he also used to play the violin. I deeply believe that it is in this space that he learnt to disassociate and just be present with himself . And I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get his greatest insights in those moments of complete presence. I don't believe that hard work and effort ever really got you what you truly want. I think we normally resort to hard work and effort because we think that's what we should be doing not because it is what we really want to be doing. And that if we actually create space in our lives space to be to be truly present with ourselves that we'll learn to listen to ourselves and receive inspiration and then our actions and the guidance that we get in life will be so much more profound. That the space between what we want achieve and achieving it will reduce so phenomenally that we wont be able to believe how easy life could really truly be. I don't profess to say that I've mastered this but I've seen it so often in my life that I know that it is true. As I said my wiring is to try too hard so this is something that I am very familiar with and it is something that I am constantly learning. I have been listening to a lot of Abraham Hicks recently and one of the things that I really love that they say is that - your soul your Source knows everything that you are wanting to achieve and if only you would relax and enjoy life it would unfold so much easier. The thing that I am focusing on the moment is relief because if I could let go of all the things that I think I need to do and should do and have to do have. I would have such a huge sense of relief. In focusing on relief I feel that my vibration rises and once I am focused on relief then I can focus on gratitude and then I can focus on joy and bliss. And bliss is the most natural state for us all to be in. If we let go of all the should’s, shouldn’t’s, must’s, mustn’t's and all of the noise in our heads what we are left with is bliss. It is funny I had created a YouTube video and a podcast on this topic but it was only when I was writing this blog that I noticed a very subtle difference in the examples I gave at the beginning. When I was a child I had not expected or wanted to come first I put the effort in because I loved what I was doing. There was no stress in the effort I was putting in. I picked up on the adults discomfort and I assumed it was mine but in writing this I see it never was. I wasn’t grooming my pony to get rosettes and I wasn’t walking so far to come first. I thought because the adults were uncomfortable I had done something wrong but I now see this was not the case. The real problem in trying too hard is not in the amount of effort you put in but in WHY you are doing it. If you are dong it for an out come and because you think you should or must then there is resistance. If you are doing it because of the love of it then there is no resistance! And this is where inspiration comes in because inspiration comes from a place of alignment with yourself and the things you love. I hope in my very roundabout way you've enjoyed today's blog. Your comments and interaction is very valued by me. I also have lots of other resources and if you’re interested you can find them on my website which is listed in the first comment below. And if you would like to step more fully into living a conscious self aware life I also offer coaching. You can send me a message through the contact tab on my website and we can set up a free chemistry call. So much love from me to you |
